Our beautiful permanent marquee here at Shottle Hall has panoramic views over the open countryside and combines a traditional stone built coach house with a state of the art luxury marquee.
Crystal chandeliers, starlit ceiling, separate lounge, and a fabulous bespoke bar, all combine to add a touch of vintage elegance to your wedding day. The marquee benefits from underfloor heating, solid walls, and glass windows, meaning we can offer marquee weddings all year round.
The Coach House Marquee can cater for larger wedding parties of between 70-150 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast and up to a maximum of 250 guests for an evening reception.
We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies and can cater up to 100 people inside The Coach House Ceremony Room, or if the weather allows then take advantage of our gorgeous outside ceremony space.

The Coach House Marquee
The Coach House Marquee at Shottle Hall is a spectacular wedding venue. Combining a traditional stone built Victorian barn with a state of the art luxury wedding marquee, all set in the heart of the picturesque Derbyshire countryside.
The Victorian barn has been lovingly restored with statement chandeliers and period features, the perfect place to hold you civil ceremony.
After you have exchanged your vows spill out into the tranquil courtyard and let your wedding guests enjoy drinks and canapés while you have those all important wedding photos. The Italian inspired gardens are exclusive to the bride and grooms who book the marquee.
